Responsabilitati:

On behalf of our client, Avira Soft, which provide complete and effective IT security solutions for both individual users and companies, we are searching professionals to fill the position of Unix Security Software Engineer

Requirements:
• Perform market research for future products
• Create product specifications based on the market’s needs
• Design a good and reliable product architecture based on the specifications
• Create product documentation
• Develop and maintain Unix corporate products (Webgate, Mailgate)
• Develop and maintain complex testing subsystems for your software products

Cerinte:

• Graduate of a Computer Science or Technical related faculty;
• Minimum one year experience in software development (IT security experience is a plus);
• Solid knowledge of C, OOP, gcc, gdb;
• Knowledge of the most representative processor architectures (i386, sparc etc.);
• Unix platforms knowledge (file system, administration utilities, makefiles, etc);
• Good knowledge of programming algorithms;

Considered a plus
• Unix daemons;
• Unix Networking API;
• Kernel modules;
• QT;
• IPC;
• Multiplatform software development;
• COFF file format linkers and loaders

Personal Characteristics:
• Analytical thinking to design and implement software architectures;
• Good knowledge of English language writing and speaking (German language is a plus);
o Self-motivated, intelligent, flexible, persevered and professional;
o Team player
