Adgile is an advertising technology company based in San Francisco, with teams in Hong Kong, Romania, Singapore, and Texas. Responsibilities & Requirements:

Work as a lead PHP developer on data-base driven web applications using latest Web 2.0 technologies (LAMP, AJAX, JQuery, CSS, SOAP, Smarty).

Web Development
• 2-8 years web development experience
• 1+ years PHP experience
• Applies object-oriented techniques (abstraction, inheritance, composition, interfaces, etc) to improve code-reuse and manage complexity
• Consumes web services using SOAP, POST, REST, etc. to interface with vendor services and external APIs
• Experience with version control systems such as Subversion or CVS

Architecture
• Exhibits strong understanding of software best practices, database design, enterprise design patterns, etc.
• Able to architect a modular, testable, flexible and fast system that interacts with the back-end systems using clearly defined interfaces.

Usability
• Able to analyze the usage flow of an application and improve it
• Creates automated unit tests that ensure the quality of individual components and prevent regressions
