As a Consultant working in the role as a HSE Engineer you will be responsible for the planning and execution of HSE activities within an area of the project, for conducting incident investigations and monitoring and controlling HSE standards and procedures. You will advise field supervision on HSE requirements, administer and conduct HSE orientation and training program for project employees, and participate in project HSE coordination meetings. You will have to plan and execute site inspection program and follow up and to identify and classify high-risk work categories and develop procedures and job safety analysis to mitigate these risks together with field superintendents. Requirements * MSc or BSc, preferably HSE engineer; * At least 2 years of relevant experience preferably in oil, gas and petrochemical industry (on/off-shore); * Knowledge of Norwegian HSE standards and EU/EAA HSE regulations. Soft skills * Good social- and communication skills; * Pragmatic and problem solving skills and creative thinking; * Flexible, willing to travel; * English fluently spoken and written, Norwegian would be an advantage.
