Country Controller – For Leading Multinational Company :: BUCURESTI

Responsabilitati:

Responsible for the preparation and integrity of financial reporting for specific legal entities within the country for local and US GAAP standards;
Responsible for implementing and performing Internal controls within are of financial accounting and reporting, cash disbursement and payroll;
Provide day to day business management of the Country's Controllership team and take leadership of project work;
Ensure efficient operation of the Payroll team and ensure accounting for payroll is compliant with statutory requirements, company policies and US GAAP;
Provide day to day leadership and coaching of the country's controllership team, specifically relating to areas requiring business knowledge and an understanding of the client facing side of the business;
Provide advice and assistance to the Geographic Controller, involving significant interaction with the Global Controllership team;
Serve as knowledge expert resource for other finance groups (e.g., accounting/control requirements);
Guide development of controllership personnel team (specialists and analysts);
Provide input to creation of Global Best Practices via the Global controllership team;
Support organization alignment, career development, and workforce change management;
Perform annual review.

Cerinte:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance;
Recommended Certifications, Licenses, etc.;
10+ years financial/management accounting experience;
Ability to work independently, within provided guidelines;
Self-Motivated, positive attitude and approach;
High level of personal integrity;
Excellent oral and written communication skills;
Strong leadership and decision making skills;
Proficiency in MS Office;
Proficiency in English.
