Cerinte:

You MUST have at least 2 years of Cisco router and switch administration, routing Protocols, BGP, Gigabit Ethernet switching technology, VLANs.
You MUST have at least 2 years of experience in configuring and administering multiple flavors of Linux/UNIX web/email/applications/clustering/DB(MySQL) servers.
Knowledge of security technologies: firewalls, virus and spam prevention and detection.
Experience maintaining a TCP/IP network.
Experience maintaining software and hardware inventory controls.
Experience with network backup, restore and disaster recovery.
Installation, configuration, and maintenance of LAN/WAN equipment and telecommunications equipment.
Experience with storage solutions, including tape drives, NAS and storage array systems.
Good understanding of VPN technologies, IPSec and SSL VPN would be a plus.
Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software and integration related problems.
Ability to communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service.
Strong technical communication and documentation skills.

Responsabilitati:

Work under the direct supervision of the IT services manager, handle daily network duties.
As part of the network IT services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability, and scalability of IT and network infrastructure to meet business demands of our customers.
Participate in the design and implementation of IT systems, applications, and hardware; conduct capacity planning as needed.
Provide level 2 and level 3 system/support and escalation expertise based on job leveling. Prioritize and respond to help desk tickets as appropriate.
Serve as cornerstone for escalating issues; provide timely response to customer escalation.
Perform file system configuration & management; perform server backups and recovery procedure.
Plan and implement server upgrades, maintenance fixes, and vendor-supplied patches.
Monitor and test system performance and provide performance statistics and reports.
Develop and maintain server documentation
Proposes and implements network enhancements (software and hardware updates) that will improve the performance and reliability of the network.
Maintains corporate network, technologies for connectivity of remote customers.
Uses standard Corporate IT tools to monitor and maintain network as per agreed service levels tools include network monitoring solutions, server monitoring solutions, trouble ticketing system etc.

Education / Certifications:
A+ / Network+ certifications preferred
Cisco/Linux/UNIX certifications are a BIG plus
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or related field or comparable experience.
