Our international client, a leading name in property and leisure has the following requirement:

Facilities Manager - to be the primary interface with the residential and local communities within the area, understanding and responding to their needs so far as is practical, legal and affordable, through the effective and efficient co-ordination of all facilities and services within the development in order to provide an exceptional service.

Facilities Management relates to the management of all our client’s developments, their infrastructure and services. Through appropriate strategic advice, procurement, diligence and monitoring, the Facilities Manager should secure maximum value for the company. A responsibility that is also essential in creating a safe and efficient working environment.

Job description:
- Developing our client’s overall property strategy;
- Developing a strategy for a single building;
- Managing the maintenance of buildings;
- Advising on health and safety of a building’s environment for the occupants and users;
- Advising on property relocation;
- Maintaining communications networks;
- Managing budgets;
- Advising on energy efficiency;
- Advising on effective use of space;
- Managing services such as cleaning, catering and car parking


- Fluent in English (Romanian constitutes an advantage);
- Effective ICT skills;
- Wide knowledge and application of Legislation impacting on the Built environment and services within
- A Degree in construction management, landscape management or related field;
- Six years of progressively responsible experience in facilities maintenance including significant supervisory experience;
- A valid Driver’s License, a satisfactory driving record, and the ability to maintain one throughout employment;
- Knowledge of the practices , methods and equipment utilized in facility maintenance, construction and repair activities, grounds- keeping & landscape management
- Knowledge of safety best practices and regulations;
- Skill in training, supervising and evaluating the work of others;
- Skill in maintaining accurate and thorough reports and records;
- Ability to work constructively and interact professionally with others;
- Ability to attend meetings outside of normal business hours;
- Ability to respond to emergencies on a 24- hour basis and lead effectively in stressful situations
